With just one click, you can search through more than 250,000 library units, 3,000 titles of periodicals, 6,000 articles, and approximately 10,000 titles from special collections, including rare and ancient manuscripts, cartographic materials, and a postcard collection.

The electronic catalog of the library provides multiple types of search options:

Basic Search
The Basic Search allows you to search using a single keyword, term, or phrase. Unlike the command and selection-based searches, which allow you to search by categories of your choice, Basic Search is a more general search that yields a broad range of results from all fields in the catalog entry based on the keyword you enter. Basic Search is recommended when you're interested in a specific topic or concept but do not know the author's name or the title of a book.

Command Search
The Command Search enables you to search within specific categories, such as "Author," "Title," "Subject," etc. The results are listed alphabetically.

Selection Search
The Selection Search allows you to search across different categories (e.g., "Author," "Title," or "Publisher") simultaneously.

In addition to searching the library's collection through the online catalog, you can also access articles and other publications in electronic form that are available on the internet in full text, with open access links to the Bosniak Institute's catalog.

Online Lending Service
All members of the Bosniak Institute Library can use the online borrowing service through the electronic catalog. This allows users to place online orders or reservations for materials they wish to use, track their current library loans, check previously borrowed titles, and save the results of their catalog searches.
