DONATIONS

Motivated by the benevolence of Adil Zulfikarpašić, numerous citizens decided to donate their precious family collections to the Bosniak Institute. These selfless contributions enriched the library with over 30,000 bibliographic units, including legacies and other library collections. Thanks to these valuable donations, donors have enabled countless researchers, students, professors, and other library users to explore the works of great thinkers and scholars, discovering the wealth of knowledge and creativity contained within.

Some of the most significant donations include the libraries of Prof. Muhsin Rizvić, PhD, Smail Balić, PhD, Dušanka Bojanić-Lukač, PhD, Prof. Iljas Hadžibegović, PhD, Halid Čaušević, PhD, Mehmed Spaho, PhD, Drago Borovčanin, PhD, Smail Tihić, PhD, Enes Čengić, Hifzija Suljkić, Alija Karamehmedović, Ibrahim Rešidkadić, Derviš Kurtović, Enes Baš, Šefket Arslanagić, Halid Kuburović, Advan Hozić, Emin and Alma Granov, Osman Topčagić, Nermina Kurspahić, Kemal Zukić, and many others.

In addition to these legacies, the library also houses numerous books by Bosnian-Herzegovinian and foreign authors, as well as other individuals who personally donated some of the most significant titles in Bosnian-Herzegovinian science and culture. These unique contributions are particularly appreciated and hold a special place in the library's collection.
