Manual Catalogs and Bulletins:

  • Catalog of the 1991-1995 War Collection

  • Catalog of publications by the Institute for the History of Arabic-Islamic Sciences at Johann Wolfgang Goethe University in Frankfurt, available in the library

  • Catalog of the Bogomil Collection

  • Catalog of the Emigrantica Collection

  • Bulletin of the latest titles in the library available through the online catalog

  • Bulletin of current periodicals

LIBRARY RULES

User Obligations:

  • To show a valid ID document when registering for the library

  • To have their membership card and ID document ready each time they use the library

  • Jackets, coats, and bags must be left at the cloakroom at the reception

  • To bring only work-related items into the reading room (pen, paper, laptop, etc.)

  • To adhere to the rules regarding copying and photographing materials

  • To handle borrowed materials responsibly

  • To return materials in good condition after use

  • To allow for a bag check if the alarm goes off when exiting

  • To inform the library about any changes in address and/or phone number

Membership:

  • All adult academic citizens can become library members and use its services

  • Library members have access to all services and materials in accordance with the library rules

  • Membership is renewed semi-annually or annually, depending on the type of membership

Membership Fees:

  • Standard membership: semi-annual (20.00 KM); annual (30.00 KM)

  • Student membership (with proof): semi-annual (10.00 KM); annual (15.00 KM)

  • Pensioner membership (with proof): semi-annual (10.00 KM); annual (15.00 KM)

Using Library Materials:

  • The library catalog is available on the Bosniak Institute’s website

  • Users can search for materials in the online catalog and order items the day before (by 3 PM) for the next day

  • Materials can be ordered via online loan through the online catalog or by filling out a borrowing slip, which is handed to the librarian

  • Each user receives instructions on how to order materials via online loan or by completing a borrowing slip during registration. Instructions are also available for ordering materials via online loan.

  • Users can order and use up to 5 items at a time

  • Users can keep the same titles for as long as needed, as long as no other user has ordered them

  • If another user requests the same titles, the first user can keep them for one week (or shorter, depending on the circumstances)

  • Materials can only be used in the reading rooms and cannot be borrowed.
